Dimensional Silk Screen Goes Digital Buys Second NUR Tempo to Further Expand Its Flatbed Inkjet Printing Capacity
MOONACHIE, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Oct. 4, 2004 -- NUR Macroprinters (Nasdaq:NURM), a leading supplier of wide-format inkjet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, announced that Dimensional Silk Screen, Inc., a 30-year old traditional graphics screen printer in San Diego, CA, has become the first NUR America customer to purchase a second NUR Tempo(TM) flatbed inkjet production press.
According to Michael Tardy, president of Dimensional Silk Screen, during the several weeks when his first machine was being installed and calibrated, he had anxious competitors visiting and customers lining up to use it "with jobs in hand"; the reception for the machine's digitally printed output was stronger and even more positive than he expected. Since that time, the NUR Tempo has had a dramatic effect on his business, contributing to a revenue increase of 30%.
