Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore to Evaluate Advanced ID's RFID Technology

CALGARY, Alberta --(Business Wire)-- May 29, 2004 -- Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB: AIDO), a pioneer in the radio frequency identification (RFID) market, today announced that it jointly met with Department of Agriculture government officials representing Malaysia and Singapore, and with the Chief Veterinarian for the San Miguel Corporation, the largest food and beverage company in the Philippines, to demonstrate its RFID livestock identification technology and to discuss the parameters for a formal evaluation.

With the continued threat of the Avian Flu epidemic, as well as Mad Cow disease, Foot and Mouth disease, and Encephalitis that hit Malaysia resulting in the loss of human life, government and corporate officials have expressed their desire to establish an identification and trace back system for their cattle and swine industries.

USDA Foreign Agricultural Service reports that there are 12.3 million pigs and 5.6 million cattle in the Philippines with annual turnover of 19.9 million pigs. It is estimated that there are 1.7 million pigs in Malaysia with an annual turnover of 2.5 million.

Seymour Kazimirski, newly appointed Chairman of the Board for Advanced ID Corporation, stated, "The presence of livestock diseases and their potential for transmission to humans through food consumption continues to be of great concern for all countries. Our ongoing efforts in Taiwan and Thailand have resulted in a greater awareness of our technology and the unique benefits it provides. We are excited about the opportunity to introduce our technology to Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines."
