National Scientific Announces Corporate Wireless Location Product Strategy; Recession Survival Turns to Success Story as Wireless Company Re-Invents Itself

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. --(Business Wire)-- May 28, 2004 -- National Scientific Corporation (OTCBB:NSCT) today announced that with the advent of recent product evaluations and the continued strength in wireless location markets, National Scientific is experiencing growth after successfully implementing a new vision specializing in the indoor and outdoor location-based product arena through developing embedded systems.

"Wi-Fi is becoming a ubiquitous solution for providing network connection, and we're positioned to take advantage of a series of growth markets by providing products that the markets are asking for now," said Graham Clark, president of National Scientific (NSC). "As access points become more pervasive, tracking and location solutions such as ours 'piggyback' on this existing infrastructure and present compelling alternatives to expensive RFID solutions."

Michael Grollman, the Company's CEO, said, "National Scientific is in a good position to emerge as the location-based technology market leader. The Company has capital, low overhead, and seasoned embedded and RF engineering professionals in addition to its management and marketing staff. National Scientific is also one of the few publicly traded companies in a segment where several smaller market players are rushing to consolidate multiple wireless location-based technologies."

Vertical industries such as child safety, petro-chemical, medical, and transportation security businesses are some examples of groups which see big increases in location-based technology needs. In addition, cost breakthroughs in single chip radios (GPS, WiFi, UWB, RFID) deliver another attractive market driver. National Scientific was the first to take advantage and offer what are currently the only indoor and outdoor location-based products.

National Scientific offers a suite of B2B, government and commercial location tracking products and platforms. More information about National Scientific is available on the company website under http://www.National-Scientific.com, or by calling 480-948-8324.
