SAFLINK Partners With Forward Advantage To Deliver Healthcare Solution SAFLINK Corporation (NASDAQ: SFLK), a leading developer, marketer, and integrator of biometric security solutions, and Forward Advantage Inc., a leading provider of reliable, high-volume output management solutions for the healthcare market, today announced an alliance to deliver a streamlined system to healthcare organizations that offers secure authentication, workstation locking and workstation logoff.SAFLINK’s SAFsolution Enterprise Edition, one of the first biometric security solutions designed specifically for organizations using Windows Active Directory service, will be combined with Forward Advantage’s workstation and application management product. SAFLINK’s software allows healthcare providers and support staff to use a fingerprint, proximity card, or other authentication devices to logon and logoff the network. By using a fingerprint or token for authentication, users experience less downtime due to lost or forgotten passwords and can more quickly retrieve patient records in critical care situations.
