TNX Television Enters into Agreement with Major London Commuter Train Operator to Install its Train Television System

PHILADELPHIA & LONDON --(Business Wire)-- May 12, 2004 -- TNX Television Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: TNXT)("TNX") announced today that its UK subsidiary TNCI UK, Ltd ("TNX UK") has entered into an agreement with c2c Rail Limited ("c2c") to install its TNX television system on c2c's fleet of trains.



Under the agreement, TNX will install its commuter television system on c2c's fleet of trains and operate the system for six years. The TNX system will deliver high quality news and information supplied by Independent Television News Limited of London ("ITN"), and general interest items to make the daily commute more enjoyable. The system also has the potential to provide enhanced passenger information and closed circuit television ("CCTV") for improved security.

c2c Rail Ltd is owned by the National Express Group and aims to be the UK's best commuter railway. c2c handles in excess of 25 million passenger journeys each year, serving northeast London. The focus on delivering customer service excellence complements the company's investment in train fleets, station improvements and technology. c2c operates one of the most modern fleets in the UK.

This year, the former London, Tilbury, & Southend Railway celebrates its 150th year. Relaunched as c2c in 2000 with an investment of GBP 350 million in new trains and GBP 50 million in station upgrades, the route has finally shaken off the "misery line" image of the 1990s and been transformed into a reliable commuter network. The arrival of TNX systems to make journeys more interesting sets the scene for the lines continued growth and enhancement.

Part of Londonlines division of National Express Group, c2c is a London Suburban train operator, carrying 35,000 passengers daily between Fenchurch Street, Southend and Tilbury. 85% of the passengers are commuting to work in London.

An average of six screens and distributed audio are installed in each vehicle for passengers to view and hear the system. The sound level automatically adjusts to the background noise of the train, and a "television free zone" will be provided in each carriage for passengers who do not wish to hear the system.

The TNX system is funded through advertising and sponsorship, ensuring no additional costs to passengers or train operators. TNX UK's target is to reach most of the 900 million annual commuter passenger journeys in the UK and will eventually expand into other international markets. At the present time the Company has entered into three agreements and several LOIs covering more than 50% of the UK and 70% of the London commuter market. The rollout of the system commenced on Central Trains and will be expanded in 2004 to cover other train operators.
