TOP LEVEL BIOMETRICS PROJECT REDUCES SECURITY THREATS ON THE ISRAELI BORDER

EDS (Electronic Data Systems) and OTI (On Track Innovations) have designed a total ID credentialing system for the US sponsored Basel Project on the Israeli border near the Gaza Strip.

This top level security project provides a dual technology of biometrics and a physical checking system using special isolation chambers that combine to eliminate guesswork in the ID process.

What's unique about this project is that three biometric solutions are contained on a single, contactless card making identification fast, highly accurate and safe.

* Facial Recognition * Hand Geometry *Fingerprinting

Other applications of OTI technology currently in use:

* Registered Traveler Security System at Continental Airlines at Liberty Airport in Newark, NJ

* Electronic Passports for China's National ID Program
