[May 11, 2004] TOP LEVEL BIOMETRICS PROJECT REDUCES SECURITY THREATS ON THE ISRAELI BORDER EDS (Electronic Data Systems) and OTI (On Track Innovations) have designed a total ID credentialing system for the US sponsored Basel Project on the Israeli border near the Gaza Strip. This top level security project provides a dual technology of biometrics and a physical checking system using special isolation chambers that combine to eliminate guesswork in the ID process.
