Agilent Technologies Deploys PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Sales Incentive Management

PLEASANTON, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- May 6, 2004 -- PeopleSoft Replaces Multiple Legacy Applications with Single Solution for Rapid Administration of Global Sales Incentives

PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) today announced that Agilent Technologies has deployed PeopleSoft(R) Enterprise Sales Incentive Management (SIM) to its global salesforce of more than 2,000 employees. A component of PeopleSoft's industry-leading Human Capital Management (HCM) suite, SIM provides organizations with real-time access to critical sales management and compensation information, allowing them to better plan, design, and communicate sales incentive programs.



PeopleSoft SIM will enable Agilent to lower administration costs, eliminate redundant data entry, more effectively measure the results of incentive programs, and see that accurate commissions are paid -- all through a single online solution. Unlike stand-alone applications, PeopleSoft SIM seamlessly integrates with core PeopleSoft HCM products such as Payroll and ePerformance to create an end-to-end solution that communicates sales objectives, evaluates the effectiveness of specific incentives and employees, and promotes accurate compensation for sales executives. As a result, Agilent will have a 360-degree view of the sales management and compensation process, allowing the company to better align its global salesforce with company goals.
