NETWORKS IN MOTION NAMED SEMI-FINALIST FOR WIRELESS LBS CHALLENGE

ATLANTA, Booth 3716, Hall B2, March 18, 2004 - Networks In Motion(tm), a software solutions provider for mobile workforce management and location-based services (LBS), today was named a semi-finalist for the First Annual Wireless LBS Challenge presented by NAVTEQ, formerly Navigation Technologies, and SiRF Technology. The winner of the Wireless LBS Challenge will be announced on Tuesday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. in Room B303-304 of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The Wireless LBS Challenge is being held in conjunction with the CTIA WIRELESS 2004 conference.

Networks In Motion will also preview AtlasBook(tm) and PhoneLocator(tm), its next-generation, wireless, GPS-enabled software solutions in the NAVTEQ partner pavilion located in Hall B4 of the Georgia World Congress Center from March 22 -24.

"To be recognized as a semi-finalist for the Wireless LBS Challenge is a tremendous honor for Networks In Motion and justifies the commitment the company has made to developing leading-edge standards-based solutions," said Michael Sheha, president and COO of Networks In Motion. "Our software solutions for GPS-enabled cell phones leverage the functionality of the wireless network and optimize the convenience of wireless communications to deliver capabilities that offer simplicity, certainty and security."

"Networks In Motion's innovative solutions leverage NAVTEQ maps to bring advanced LBS services to cell phone users in North America," said Winston Guillory, the Senior Vice President of North American Sales for NAVTEQ. "With solutions like AtlasBook and PhoneLocator becoming available, mobile consumers will soon begin to experience the utility of LBS solutions, affirming our commitment to continuing to fuel the industry with initiatives such as the Wireless LBS Challenge."

AtlasBook utilizes a cell phone's built-in GPS technology to deliver a full suite of tools including real-time turn-by-turn directions, full-color, high-quality maps of the user's location, and Yellow Pages to search for places nearby. Users can even logon to the AtlasBook Web site and store favorite places and trips that they can later retrieve from their phone. These features work together to simplify travel planning, save time on the road and make mobile life more productive. AtlasBook transforms a cell phone into a personal travel guide.

PhoneLocator is a simple way to keep track of a cell phone's location anytime, anywhere. From the PhoneLocator Web site, the phone can be located on a map and directions displayed to or from the phone's location, thereby enabling a heightened level of security and peace of mind.

Both AtlasBook and PhoneLocator incorporate digital map data from NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation, Internet/wireless applications, and business solutions. NAVTEQ maps are infused with more than 150 attributes such as turn restrictions, one-way streets and street signs, key information points that make travel from one point to another easier and more efficient for the user. The company's proprietary collection process involves driving the roads in order to update and verify information, resulting in highly accurate maps that reflect the 'reality' of the roads.

The AtlasBook and PhoneLocator GPS-enabled wireless location-based software solutions from Networks In Motion are planned for release later this year.
