IMlogic Expands Management Team with Industry Veterans; Executives from Groove Networks and Microsoft Latest to Join Ranks of Instant Messaging Infrastructure Leader
WALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- June 29, 2004 -- IMlogic, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise infrastructure software solutions for the rapidly growing Instant Messaging (IM) market, today announced the addition of two new hires to its management team. David Fowler joins IMlogic as vice president of marketing and strategic alliances and Tim Johnson joins as the director of program management.
In his role as vice president of marketing and strategic alliances, David Fowler will drive IMlogic's worldwide marketing organization including corporate marketing and communications, product management, branding and positioning and overseeing the company's corporate positioning, messaging, and strategic partnerships. As director of program management, Tim Johnson will manage the design and engineering of IMlogic's industry-leading solutions.

David Fowler brings more than twenty years of marketing experience to IMlogic, specifically in the collaboration, customer relationship management and networking industries. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of marketing and business development for Groove Networks, a desktop collaboration company. Prior to Groove Networks, Fowler served as president and executive vice president of marketing at KANA (originally Silknet), a leading provider of customer relationship management software, where he was instrumental in helping grow quarterly revenues over 1000% from $3.6 million to $42 million. He has also served in a number of senior management roles at Sun Microsystems, Chipcom (networking systems) and Gradient Technologies (a security software company).

He additionally led the transformation of the MSN division of Microsoft to become the leading integrated product suite for the global Internet community.
