Carrier Demand Strong at Latest CANTO Conference & Trade Exhibition
IRVINE, Calif., June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hop-on, Inc., , the leading developer and manufacturer of disposable as well as traditional, entry level priced cell phones and wireless accessories, today announced that it received a very favorable reception for the Company's GSM cell phones at 20th Annual CANTO Conference and Trade Exhibition (Caribbean Association of National Telecommunications Organization) held on June 13th - 16th this year held in Curacao. All the major telecommunication companies of the Caribbean (UTS, Cable & Wireless, Belize Telecom, GT&T and others) along with the major manufacturers for wireless products and solutions (Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Ericsson, Nortel and others) attended the gathering, with about 71 exhibitors displaying their product lines.
Hop-on featured two of its GSM model cell phones at the tradeshow; the HOP1806 and HOP1808 models. Multiple purchase orders were received from carriers, which are now starting to test the phones on their networks and with consumers.
