IPCC Integrates International VoIP Council
The International Packet Communications Consortium (IPCC) announced at today the integration of the International VoIP Council into its organization. In recognition of the complimentary nature of their missions the two organizations have joined forces to increase their focus on promoting and accelerating the development of VoIP and packet communications markets and solutions. The combined organization will retain the IPCC name and structure.
"I am really excited about uniting the two strongest VoIP industry associations and I am looking forward to working with our expanded membership," said Neal Shact the International VoIP Council Chairman.
Neal will assume the newly created leadership role of Community Developer where he will be working closely with Michael Khalilian, President and Chairman of the IPCC to expand the IPCC community.
"We welcome the International VoIP Council, a long term partner of the IPCC," said Michael Khalilian, Chairman and President of the IPCC. "Their members are industry leaders whose dedication to VoIP and packet communications greatly enhances the IPCC community and the industry as a whole. We all agree that we will accomplish more with one unified voice on VoIP."
Benefits for the members of the expanded organization include:

• Increased focus on community, networking and marketing events
• Additional participants in the IPCC's 7 Working Groups
• Additional participants in the IPCC's SP Board including Bell Canada, Telus, DeltaThree & Net2Phone
• Additional opportunities for participation in educational events driving VoIP solutions and markets
The organization, will continue to operate as the International Packet Communications Consortium (IPCC), and will continue to promote cooperation and close relationships with other industry organizations and standards bodies to accelerate VoIP markets. The IPCC Board of Directors and IPCC executives will run the integrated organization.
