FCAPS Expands Leadership Team with Technology and Engineering Appointments; Diversity Technology Start-up Poised for 2005 Growth

CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- June 21, 2004 -- FCAPS, a pioneer in developing managed service solutions for the carrier market, today announced the appointment of John McMenamin as Vice President, Technology and Hank Reed as Vice President, Engineering, bolstering the company's technology and engineering leadership as it continues to execute against plan to achieve projected profitable growth in 2005.

Champions of change, McMenamin and Reed are veterans of Verizon and predecessor companies NYNEX, Bell Atlantic and GTE, as well as AT&T. They join FCAPS with more than 50 years' combined carrier experience in voice and data technology, engineering, customer network engineering, operations, and network and customer service management, including establishing the first end-to-end managed service solution ever offered by a carrier to the Enterprise market.

The announcement was made by FCAPS President and former Gartner executive Christopher Campbell at the Supplier Diversity Summit being held in conjunction with the SUPERCOMM exhibition and Conference in Chicago, the premier trade show for the U.S. telecommunications industry. Campbell's appointment as FCAPS president was announced at last year's Supplier Diversity Summit at SUPERCOMM in Atlanta, when he joined FCAPS from Gartner Consulting where he was managing vice president and global practice director of the strategic sourcing practice.

"The events of the last year have served to further reinforce that success in serving the carrier market demands knowing how to competitively address customer needs, combined with an in-depth understanding of how carriers work, including an exceptional appreciation of the legal and regulatory challenges across all aspects of the business," said Christopher Campbell, FCAPS President. "John and Hank have lived the carrrier's reality and beyond loyalty, they are passionate about carriers' success in the marketplace and Enterprise customer satisfaction. They bring with them careers characterized by astute problem-solving and execution of breakthrough, winning, managed service solutions.

Given analysts' view that managed services are the future of the carriers in the enterprise space, John and Hank are a perfect fit for FCAPS. I welcome them both and am excited to lead an expanded FCAPS leadership team in realizing this enormous market opportunity."
