Interpeak Demonstrates IPv6 TCP/IP Stack Conformity with TAHI Test Suite
STOCKHOLM, Sweden & SANTA MONICA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- June 15, 2004 -- Interpeak AB, a pioneer in Internet and security protocol solutions for embedded systems, today announced that the IPNET dual mode IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP stack successfully passed the TAHI conformance tests for the IPv6 protocol specification, both as host and router.
The TAHI project was formed in 1998 as a joint effort between University of Tokyo, UDC Corporation and Yokogawa Electric Corporation and has today become a highly respected conformance and interoperability test method for the IPv6 functionality in TCP/IP stacks.
IPNET has passed the atomized conformance tests for IPv6 specification without remarks, configured both as a host stack as well as a routing stack. The TAHI test suite will now become a permanent part of the IPNET validation system to maintain IPv6 conformity and interoperability.
"Including the TAHI tests in our IPNET release test suite is a great way to demonstrate protocol conformance for our IPv6 products," said Lennart Bang, Vice President Engineering of Interpeak. "Furthermore, the TAHI test suite generates good test reports that will be made available in our release documentation as confirmation of the quality of our products."
Further information regarding TAHI can be found at www.tahi.org.
