PRN Corporation and CNET Show Consumers How to Choose an HDTV at Top Retailers Nationwide

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- June 14, 2004 -- HDTV Departments at Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears Now Feature CNET's Expert Guidance in Ongoing Series of One-Minute Videos

PRN Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, Premier Retail Networks, Inc., and CNET Networks, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:CNET) CNET (www.cnet.com), the trusted, unbiased source of information for millions of consumer electronics and technology buyers around the world, have partnered to deliver valuable electronics buying expertise to consumers as they shop in the television departments in leading nationwide retailers including Best Buy, Circuit City, and Sears.

Currently displayed twice hourly on the television sets for sale in these stores is a one-minute, helpful series called "CNET Tips for Digital Living: HDTV." The series, which will be updated with a new episode each month, features CNET editorial expert Brian Cooley explaining HDTV and home theater systems, and providing tips to help consumers choose the products that will best fit their lifestyles. This alliance extends the CNET brand to new technology-interested consumer segments offline, through selected top retailers within the PRN network. The series is intended to drive further awareness of the CNET Web site by showing consumers the value of its editorial expertise while they are making complicated and expensive purchase decisions.

PRN is the largest in-store television network in the United States based on monthly reach, with programming in more than 5,000 leading national retail stores delivering approximately 180 million monthly impressions.

"HDTVs and home theaters are all the rage, but when you walk into a retail store, the complexity of the systems for sale and the price tags are intimidating to the average consumer, to say the least," said Brian Cooley, CNET editor-at-large who will be the series' trusted, unbiased expert. "Our brief, information-packed videos are designed to help consumers better understand HDTV's and home theaters, so they can make purchasing decisions with confidence."

"CNET is a leader in providing consumers with informative content about technology and we believe our viewers will benefit from watching CNET's tips about HDTVs while making a purchase decision," commented Charlie Nooney, chief executive officer of PRN Corporation. "PRN is dedicated to being a leader in educating consumers about 'all things HD' at retail."
