Emerald Publications Obtains Exclusive Rights to Market Phyllis Shelton Long-Term Care Insurance Selling Systems
SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- June 8, 2004 -- Emerald Publications, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV), announced it has obtained exclusive rights to market and distribute the Phyllis Shelton brand of long-term care insurance training and marketing materials.
Phyllis Shelton, President and founder of LTC Consultants, Nashville, Tennessee, is widely recognized as a driving force in educating the insurance industry and the insurance consumer on the issues and benefits of long-term care insurance.
In announcing this new partnership, Craig Faulkner, President and founder of Emerald Publications, said, "Long-term care insurance is rapidly becoming a key component of comprehensive health care insurance in the United States. Our partnership with Phyllis Shelton affords us the opportunity to serve this growing market segment."
Under the new partnership with LTC Consultants, Emerald will manage the sales and distribution of the complete line of the Phyllis Shelton long-term care insurance selling systems and educational products. Emerald Publications, Phyllis Shelton and her company, LTC Consultants, will continue to develop new and innovative products and services to serve the industry.
Beginning today, Emerald will assume all responsibility for distributing Shelton's products to independent agents and corporate insurance offices throughout the country. The agreement includes production and distribution of the flagship product, High Impact Shelton Sales Suite, whose various components incorporate CD's and audiotapes, workbooks, flipcharts and sales aids, software, videos, and DVD's.
