Under the agreement, Alpha NetSolutions will develop a new program that will port and certify Independent Software Vendor's (ISVs) products and will also provide enterprise customers with certified applications on various Novell solutions, including the SUSE Linux platform. The new program is initially geared for the financial services vertical market segment. As the program progresses, additional vertical markets will be addressed. Alpha NetSolutions will enable its customers to bring applications together in an environment similar to those implemented by Novell's customers and will then certify the applications for use in the specific industry on Novell's SUSE Linux platform. Detailed migration plans built specifically around the individualized applications they use will be provided. The certification will allow ISVs to provide their customers with credentials demonstrating that their applications have been ported, tested, and certified with Novell's certification program.
