SALESNET LAUNCHES ON-DEMAND CRM LEARNING CENTER

mySalesnet Provides Customers With Dedicated Resources For Accelerating Deployment, ROI, And Business Success

Boston, MA – July 20, 2004 — Salesnet, the leading provider of on-demand CRM software focused on driving sales effectiveness, today announced the launch of mySalesnet, an online resource offering customers a centralized location for accessing tools and information to help fully leverage the power of Salesnet’s products and services. mySalesnet has specialized areas uniquely dedicated to customers’ everyday users, internal system administrators, executive management sponsors, and IT developers. Visitors of mySalesnet can take advantage of illustrated tutorials, “Quick Start” guides, tips and tricks, third party research, workshops and training courses, along with other tools specifically designed to enhance their overall Salesnet experience.

A special component of mySalesnet includes a developer area offering a safe, non-production Sandbox. This can be used to build and test areas of the application, for instance, when applying sophisticated data imports, newly built configurations, or enhanced integration components. Once a developer confirms that testing in the Sandbox meets their company’s criteria, they can then push these enhancements into production. Along the same lines of the mySalesnet Sandbox, there’s also a Preview area where visitors receive advanced access to upcoming features and functionality prior to Salesnet’s general availability date. mySalesnet Preview enables customers to more closely participate in and further influence updates to Salesnet’s on-demand CRM applications to better fit their particular business needs.

“mySalesnet underscores Salesnet's commitment to helping its customers succeed by making it easier for them to learn about, use and reap the benefits of the Salesnet solution,” said Laurie McCabe, vice president, Insights and Business Solutions at analyst firm AMI Partners. “By giving customers a heads up on upcoming product enhancements, and a safe way to test and train on them, mySalesnet ensures that customers can use new capabilities, and minimize any hiccups in the sales process.”

The launch of mySalesnet further supports Salesnet’s Guided Performance Selling, or GPS for sales, strategy. With the launch of GPS earlier this year, Salesnet underpinned its commitment to deliver high-impact CRM solutions for empowering its customers to aggressively exceed sales objectives. The three major components of GPS, software-as-a-service, configuration-as-a-serviceä, and integration-as-a-serviceä, offers the on-demand CRM industry’s fastest, most customized deployment, including enhanced accuracy in measuring sales activities, and more effective reinforcement of branded or proprietary sales methodologies. mySalesnet embraces all three components of GPS and will serve as the official focal point for data collection, distribution of critical training and support resources, and the sharing and exchange of best business practices.

“Our new dedicated online learning center, mySalesnet, is designed to help accelerate how effectively our customers use Salesnet,” said Anthony Nelson, Chief Customer Officer at Salesnet. “There are many external factors that impact the selling environment — new technological advancements, increasing global competition, and changing customer needs. We hope that mySalesnet will offer our customers tools to enable them to better improve those factors they can control, like the deployment and utilization of Salesnet. With mySalesnet, we’re providing not only the nuts and bolts on how to effectively implement and own Salesnet’s CRM solution, but also bringing our customers strategic skills and development resources to accomplish even higher levels of sales performance.”
