TMC Launches “Speech-World” Conference in Dallas This Fall

Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) announced today the launch of Speech-World Conference (www.speech-world.com). Focusing on enterprise speech technology applications, including those prevalent in contact centers, as well as consumer electronics and mobile applications, the event will take place Tuesday, November 30 – Thursday, December 2, 2004 at the Westin Park Central in Dallas, Texas.

According to Nadji Tehrani, TMC® CEO and founder of Customer Interaction Solutions® magazine, the conference will be a mix of sessions educating attendees about developing, selecting and deploying the right enterprise and consumer electronic speech technology solutions.

“Speech applications are revolutionizing today’s call centers just like the ACD and predictive dialer once did. Applications of speech are now moving from IVR and contact centers into our cars, PCs, PDAs and even common household items like the TV remote control. This conference is the place to learn about issues across a full spectrum of speech applications, and devise a plan for deploying them,” explained Tehrani.

“Customer Interaction Solutions® magazine has been at the forefront of reporting and analyzing contact center technologies since 1982. We are industry pioneers and as such, it is our responsibility to provide educational forums like Speech-World,” Tehrani added.

The Speech-World conference program will be a combination of traditional presentation-based sessions and actual demo sessions. The goal is to provide attendees with all the tools they need to begin selecting and deploying solutions immediately. There are also sessions planned for speech application development, including discussion of standards and protocols.

TMC also announced that its IP Contact Center Summit conference will be co-located with Speech-World in Dallas. A popular track at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO in the past, IP Contact Center Summit educates in-house and outsourced call center management on the extensive benefits and cost-savings they can realize by deploying VoIP in their contact centers.

Vendors interested in exhibiting at the conference should contact Dave Rodriguez at (203) 852-6800, ext. 146; or via e-mail at [email protected].

TMC has announced a call for papers for companies interested in presenting relevant conference sessions at Speech-World or IP Contact Center Summit. Please visit http://www.speech-world.com for details.
