Entellium Names Former Sprint Executive as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America

SEATTLE --(Business Wire)-- July 2, 2004 -- Natalee Roan, brings extensive telco experience in running national Channel, Sales, Customer Retention and Marketing programs

Entellium (www.entellium.com), a provider of hosted sales, customer service and marketing automation products, today named Natalee Roan vice president of sales and marketing for the company's North America operations.

Most recently, Roan has acted as an independent consultant to various corporations from her base in the Pacific Northwest. Previously she held several senior executive positions in sales and marketing with Sprint (NYSE:FON) beginning prior to its launch and working with the organization until operating revenues grew to over $8 billion.

Among her responsibilities at Sprint, Roan headed its national sales operations team where she created and implemented marketing, sales, distribution, and training programs to support 35,000 sales reps at 13,000 points of distribution in both consumer and business-to-business markets.

Previously, Roan held positions with Nextel Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:NXTL) and GTE Wireless (now Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ)), where she authored marketing plans including pricing strategy and distribution channel development.

Commenting on her appointment, Paul Johnston, Entellium chief executive officer said: "Natalee's outstanding track record in taking early stage companies that have a subscription-based revenue model in a highly competitive arena and growing them into large enterprises that effectively leverage VAR channels is a perfect fit for Entellium."

At Entellium, Roan will spearhead the company's drive to challenge current market leaders in the hosted CRM space by replicating a business model based on her success in the telecommunications arena.

"One of the shortcomings of many hosted CRM providers is their lack of experience in offering quality service to customers and successfully managing a channel business relationship. Our aim is to be in the top four globally through mid 2005," said Roan.

Before entering the private sector, Roan was the youngest faculty member in the University of California, Berkeley where she designed and taught university classes in statistics, business management, leadership, and organization design. She is also a published author and received her Master's degree in Industrial Psychology, with honors, from the University of California at Berkeley. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration, Summa cum Laude, from the City University of New York in Business Management.
