Symon Communications Continues Solid, Profitable Growth in 2003

Symon Communications, Inc., a provider of real-time enterprise information for productivity and performance management, has completed its 23rd consecutive year of profitable growth.

During 2003, Symon’s revenue grew 18 percent, while year-to-year net income grew by more than 45 percent. Symon attributes the company’s success to myriad growth activities, such as its new, expanded product line – including launch of its Symon Vista real-time data visualization tool, new software releases for Symon Community, and introduction of NetLite II wireless real-time display technology.

Also, the company’s acquisition of TargetVision and consequent expansion into the corporate and employee communications market contributed to Symon’s profitable growth. Finally, Symon strengthened its leadership team, including the hiring of industry-veteran John Mastrangeli to head up the company’s sales in North America.

Commenting on the company’s 2003 success, President and CEO Charles Ansley said, “2003 was a watershed year for Symon. We completed the evolution from our former position as a respected hardware and software provider to now being recognized as offering robust integrated solutions for our now expanded customer base. The growth and expansion in 2003 has positioned us on all fronts for unprecedented success in 2004 and beyond, including having some exciting products in the development pipeline for release this year.”
