Direct Marketing Platform Overcomes Do Not Call and Can Spam Act

Rights Exchange, Inc. DBA Adnoodle, today announced a marketplace that will pay consumers to listen to short advertisements on the telephone and respond to emails breathing life into the Direct Marketing Industry reeling from the establishment of the National Do Not Call List and Can Spam Act.

“It is a simple solution for the beleaguered direct marketers and the companies they represent”, said Daniel Shifrin, Founder and CEO of Adnoodle, a Consumer Marketplace that will fill the vacuum created by the new privacy legislation. He went on to say “Millions of consumers are willing to barter their time and attention if they are fairly compensated; especially if they are receiving relevant advertisements. Both the advertiser and consumer benefit by participating in the marketplace. Consumers receive a little financial help and the Direct Marketing Industry will be invigorated by the new advertising medium”. Ravi Dhar, Ph.D., Professor of Marketing and Consumer Behavior at Yale School of Management agreed stating, “The only win-win solution for the Direct Marketing Industry is to compensate consumers for their time”.

Similar to an auction marketplace, Adnoodle will allow Direct Marketers to bid for a specific consumer’s time and attention. If a consumer accepts an offer they may chose to listen to prerecorded advertisements and if interested connect live to a telemarketer. Consumers fulfill their obligation and prove comprehension by answering one simple question at the end of the pre-recorded advertisement or conversation. Once they correctly answer the question, their Account will instantly be credited the agreed amount. Consumers will then receive two follow up emails containing offers and valuable discounts.

Anyone over eighteen years of age may register for the program at www.adnoodle.com Consumers fill out a questionnaire building a profile describing their lifestyle and setting advertiser access controls. After registration, a sanitized version of their profile is posted to the marketplace and advertisers may begin sending bids to the new member.
“Consumers are talking on a goldmine”, says Daniel Shifrin, also the Founder of another Consumers/Advertiser marketplace called Autowraps-FreeCar. The innovative Company pays consumers a monthly fee in exchange for displaying an advertisers message on their vehicle. Mr. Shifrin added, “I believe that these marketplaces will significantly increase advertiser’s sales by creating a direct communication channel between consumers and marketers”

The Adnoodle free service is now accepting pre-registrants and anticipates its first program to launch in February 2004.
