Worldlabel.com develops first RFID Smart Label for Laser printers in sheet form.

Worldlabel.com is pleased to announce the development of Xtrack RFID Smart Labels on 8.5 x 11 sheets for printing with laser printers. Prototypes of a 4 x 6 label on a laser cut sheet with an EPC UHF tag inserted have been produced. Worldlabel.com has the ability to embed any size label on a laser label sheet.

Worldlabel.com is a leader in the converting of RFID Smart Labels and laser and inkjet labels. Recent test of their Xtrack RFID Smart labels at the RFID Alliance Lab at the Univ. of Kansas tested the labels 100% readable. Worldlabel.com has a PCT patent pending application for a method of embedding RFID Tags to paper labels. An opinion by the International Search Authority has approved the method as novel and innovative.

While we have the ability to embed tags into several labels on a sheet, the necessary hardware has to be developed to read and encode several tags on a sheet. Equipment is available for reading and encoding one label per sheet on a sheet regardless of the size of label and type of tag embedded.

We are proud to be the first to develop and bring to market RFID Smart Laser Printer Labels. We are positive we can embed any inlay into a paper labels and produce a rolls or sheets of Xtrack RFID Smart Labels 100% readable with our method of converting said Russell Ossendryver, USA director of Worldlabel.com and Innotech Resources PTE LTD in Singapore. Innotech Resources PTE LTD is a major label converter and has invented a method of embedding RFID tags to paper labels. The method is efficient for long runs of one size label and also batch conversion of different size labels with the inlay embedded anywhere in the label the customers might require with a quick turn around. Typically, about 20% of the RFID labels in rolls have defective chips and are not readable. Our system and methods of manufacturing increases the reliability and consistency of RFID labels to 100% readable. Labels can be printed with bar codes with UHF Class 1, Ucode 1.19 and Class 0 RFID tags embedded with most popular laser printers.

About Worldlabel.com - Worldlabel.com is a leading manufacturer of laser and inkjet printer labels in over 50 sizes, each size available in 18 different materials including clear, colors, glossy, weatherproof and more. Worldlabel.com offers a large selection of address, shipping, mailing label sizes and CD, DVD and other types of media labels. Worldlabel.com has a presence in Asia through Innotech Resources PTE LTD in Singapore. Innotech Resources PTE LTD is a major converter of barcode labels and pressure sensitive labels.
