Liska Biometry Appoints Jack Lecza as Senior VP Operations and Business Development and Files Trademark Application


CANDIA, N.H. --(Business Wire)-- Dec. 14, 2004 -- Former Lockheed Martin Executive to lead Company's business development

Liska Biometry (OTC BB:LSKA) a biometrics solutions provider, today announced that it has appointed Jack Lecza as Vice President of Operations and Business Development.

Jack Lecza will lead the Company's U.S. strategic partner development initiatives. He is responsible for identification of new partners, relationship management and internal coordination of partner development to support the Company's aggressive marketing and business development initiatives. During the past 15 years, Jack has held several prominent executive positions in the defense and commercial space. In 2000, he was appointed chief operations officer with the Barlo Group PLC, a vertically integrated multi-national, overseeing engineering systems development, design and administration teams in the U.S. and Mexico. Prior to joining Barlo, Jack helped co-found Image Data, Inc. a high-tech start-up that applied images and biometrics to identity verification for fraud prevention in the retail sector.

From 1989 to 1995, Jack held several positions with Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT) including Director of Business Development, Program Manager and Vice President of Marketing of the Internet Design Company, a joint venture and commercialization of a $100 million signal processing technology program, was a senior consultant to the Pentagon under the National Security Industrial Association in addition to being a U.S. representative in Strategic Arms Reduction Talks (START Treaty) with the former Soviet Union.

Jack served eight years with the United States Navy and 2 years with its Special Operations unit


In addition, Liska Biometry is pleased to announce it has filed a trademark application for 'BIN' referring to the Company's Biometric Identifier Number technology that generates a short, numeric identifier from an individual's fingerprint. This short code can be embedded in documentation (such as travel visas and passports) and used for real-time analysis or comparison against databases of stored fingerprint images (i.e. terrorist/law enforcement watch lists)
