Xanser's Xtria and Richardson Regional Medical Center Sign Three-Year Digital Imaging Managed Services Contract
DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- Dec. 3, 2004 -- Xtria LLC, a leading provider of digital imaging solutions and services to the healthcare industry, announced that it has been awarded a three-year, four million dollar contract to provide managed services supporting the digital imaging environment at Richardson Regional Medical Center, a not-for-profit hospital in Richardson, Texas. Xtria is a wholly owned subsidiary of Xanser Corporation (NYSE:XNR).
Under the terms of the agreement, Xtria will upgrade Richardson Regional's technology infrastructure, which includes their network and image storage devices. Xtria will also manage the implementation of Richardson Regional's advanced digital imaging environment, including the installation of a radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communications systems (PACS). In addition, Xtria will provide on-site support to manage the implementation process.
