Veridicom Announces ``Cavio 3.0'' The Identity Management Server

SEATTLE --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 25, 2004 -- New Identity Management Infrastructure Offers Enterprise, Strong Authentication, Improved Security, and Data Integrity with Biometric Signatures

Veridicom International Inc. (OTCBB:VRDI) today announced The Identity Management Server Cavio 3.0, which securely manages identities across the enterprise. The Identity Server is a key component in Veridicom's product development strategy and is set to become the cornerstone of the company's highly secure and scalable enterprise authentication suite.

Utilizing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and biometrics, the Veridicom Identity Server will ensure the authenticity of users, and guarantees the privacy and integrity of their data and transactions. The secure infrastructure will provide a Public Key Cryptography Standard #11 (PKCS#11) interface for interoperability with any application requiring cryptographic services. These applications include web browsers, email clients and access control systems.

"We are confident that our Identity Server significantly improves on security standards currently in use in the market," stated Paul Mann, President & CEO of Veridicom International. "Our Identity Server architecture combines biometrics, digital certificates, data encryption, and standards based technology to offer a robust environment for today's increasing security and authentication needs."

The modular design of the Identity Server enables large organizations to deploy fingerprint biometrics cost effectively across their enterprise, in addition to securing data communication enabled through biometrics. Server side components include built in certificate authority, administration, and enrollment services. Client side components include a PKCS#11 driver and an extensible enrollment station application.

"Our current and evolving suite of products offer our customers an integrated approach to managing identities with biometrics," added Mr. Mann. "Over the coming months we expect to make additional announcements regarding new hardware, software and devices that further strengthen our position as a leading provider of secure identity management solutions." Server support will be available for both Windows and Linux environments.
