Barcoding Inc. Named Intermec RFID Authorized Partner

EVERETT, Wash. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 10, 2004 -- Intermec Technologies Corp. today named Barcoding Inc., an Intermec Honors Partner, to its Intermec RFID Authorized Partner program. Barcoding will work directly with Intermec to help customers develop comprehensive plans for adding RFID capabilities to their supply chain operations.

RFID Authorized Partners complete a rigorous qualification and training process that authorizes them to resell Intermec RFID products and services and to specify Intermec RFID solutions.

"Barcoding Inc. is one of Intermec's most highly valued partners, with a long history of deploying automated data collection systems," said Intermec Vice President Rod Crane. "I know Barcoding will be instrumental in helping our joint customers add RFID capabilities to their supply chain operations."

"RFID authorization from Intermec was imperative to our business, because our customers are demanding that we educate them about RFID products and its capabilities," said Barcoding Vice President Richard Schrock. "Intermec continues to provide industry-leading technology and support that complements our data collection software solutions."

RFID, a complement to current bar code-based tracking systems, allows companies to automatically track inventory throughout an entire supply chain.
