The Lido Group Taps Richard Coyle, Jr. as Senior Vice President To Drive The Firm's Utility Practice

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 3, 2004 -- The Lido Group has named Richard Coyle, Jr., former chief risk officer and vice president of finance for Sierra Pacific Resources, Senior Vice President. The Lido Group and its operating subsidiaries, Lido Capital, Spectrum Project Management Services, NuBell Communications and NuLEC Telephone and Data, provide a wide range of services to the utility and telecommunications industries. Mr. Coyle will be responsible for the management, day-to-day operations, and expansion of Lido Capital's Utility Practice.

Mr. Coyle brings more than a decade of utility industry experience to The Lido Group and a proven track record in positively transforming the financial and market position of Sierra Pacific's telecommunications businesses. Most recently, as chief risk officer, he headed the company's enterprise risk management efforts following the western energy crisis and the resulting deferred energy write-downs. Mr. Coyle also worked as president and managing director for Sierra Pacific's unregulated business lines, including E3 Energy Services and Sierra Pacific Communications. Mr. Coyle successfully restructured and sold these operations consistent with Sierra Pacific's strategy of focusing on its core utility operations.

In addition, he served as the executive director of marketing and operations for Sierra Pacific Energy Company where he was responsible for marketing energy commodity and value added products. While with Sierra Pacific, he also worked as manager of industry restructuring. Prior to joining the industry, Mr. Coyle worked as an assistant controller for a financial services firm, Executive Monetary Management Inc.

An active participant and speaker in industry groups, Mr. Coyle recently presented "Perspectives on the Financial Impacts of Energy Service Guarantee Contracts," at the Leasing and Finance Conference. He supports the community through his involvement with the United Way, the National Conference of Community and Justice, and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club.

A graduate of City University of New York -- Queens College, Mr. Coyle earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and information systems.
