ADS Logistics/AREA Transportation Streamlines Operations and Administration with Internet Accessible Proof Of Delivery

HOMEWOOD, Ill. --(Business Wire)-- April 20, 2004 -- ADS Logistics, LLC (ADS), a national provider of integrated logistics services to the metals industry, announced today that its truckload carrier division, Area Transportation, now offers online bill of lading and proof of delivery documents for all loads handled by the interstate carrier.

The informational and administrative benefits to customers and ADS/AREA are significant. Customers with a user id and password are able to access their documents 24/7 via the Internet, thereby eliminating the need to call for paperwork and reducing their communication charges. Additionally, customers will gain efficiencies by reducing time spent to obtain and receive requested documentation. Should a question arise, AREA personnel can instantly retrieve and view documents on their screens and with the push of a button fax the documents to you while still on the phone call.
