Santa Cruz Networks and SEE Networks Canada announce business partnership

SEE Networks Canada announced today that it has partnered with California based Santa Cruz Networks to offer a multi-site, rich-media meeting experience that combines secure, group video, voice and data sharing - all on a desktop PC, laptop or tablet PC with any headset and web camera.

SEE Networks Canada will be offering Santa Cruz Network's VidiTel videoconferencing service to Canadian businesses and organization. VidiTel, which recently won a PC Magazine Editors' Choice Award, copes with the Internet's unpredictable bandwidth fluctuations to deliver consistent high-quality video and voice communications.

"SEE Networks Canada intends to deliver VidiTel services, which are run on our Real Time Communications Exchange, RTCX platform, to organizations across Canada. Ashley Marcelline, President and CEO of SEE Networks Canada has an extremely perceptive view on next generation managed Internet applications, having been at the forefront of Internet delivery solutions since 1996, and is an ideal Canadian partner for Santa Cruz Networks," said Keith Teare, President and CEO of Santa Cruz Networks. "For SEE Networks Canada customers in need of a solution that integrates video, voice, data-sharing and presence, Santa Cruz Networks' multi-point real-time communications exchange meets those requirements and much more."

VidiTel works with a broad range of readily available web cameras and headsets. For less than $65 CDN per seat per month for unlimited use, See Networks VidiTel service is an extremely cost-effective alternative to current non-integrated video, voice and web conferencing solutions.

"We are extremely excited by the opportunity to deliver to Canadian organizations a superior solution which allow them to conduct business and stay in contact with business and personal relationships from the office, at home, or on the road. Unlike its competitors, VidiTel uniquely supports one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many communications using a desktop, laptop or tablet PC. It overcomes the cumbersome performance, complexity and price barriers that have hampered rapid adoption of real-time internet communications in the past." said Ashley Marcelline, President and CEO of SEE Networks Canada.
