Networked Storage Leader Paul Talbut Joins Intransa's Advisory Council

European Storage Industry Pioneer Brings Insight and Visibility to Intransa's European Operations

SAN JOSE, Calif. - April 8, 2004 - Intransa Inc., the global leader in intelligent IP SAN data storage, today announced that storage industry pioneer Paul Talbut has joined the company's Advisory Council. Talbut is chief executive of Hardware Planning Services Limited, chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association Europe, and a founding member and four-year chairman of the Fibre Channel Industry Association Europe. He has more than 30 years of IT industry experience.

"Paul is widely recognized as one of the leading network storage figures in Europe," said Dr. Avi Katz, President and CEO of Intransa. "As the IP SAN revolution spreads worldwide, Paul will leverage his enormous industry credibility to help evangelize and educate the European market on the powerful benefits of the new IP storage technology."

"Intransa is delivering today on its powerful vision of native IP storage area networks," said Paul Talbut. "The European storage market is beginning to embrace the merits of native IP SANs. It is clear that Intransa has an opportunity to emerge as the IP SAN market leader in Europe and around the world."

Intransa's advisory council is composed of industry pioneers and thought leaders. The council helps guide Intransa as it delivers groundbreaking storage solutions using Internet Protocol (IP). See www.intransa.com/company/advisory.html for list of council members.

Using innovative architecture and sophisticated management software, Intransa's IP SAN enables customers to easily add storage capacity from 2 to 16 terabytes (TB), meeting the needs of high volume e-mail and collaborative environments such as Microsoft Exchange, databases, backup and restore software, and other mission-critical applications. Intransa's IP SAN provides IT administrators an attractive alternative to expensive Fibre Channel components by leveraging the network hardware commodity trend and the widespread knowledge of IP networking. The Intransa IP SAN facilitates the enterprise deployment of tiered and on-demand storage infrastructure.
