A member of ReefEdge's senior management team, Mr. Metzger will oversee the company's engineering and product design functions. Prior to joining ReefEdge, Mr. Metzger served as Vice President, Research & Development at Avaya, Inc., a global leader in communications systems, applications and services. At Avaya, he led the R&D efforts for several product lines, including Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) devices, Core/Transport IP Switch/Routers, Optical Interfaces, and Converged VoIP Gateways. The products under his direction represented an annualized revenue stream of over $200 million dollars. Earlier, Mr. Metzger served as Managing Director of Engineering at Agile Networks, a leading provider of carrier class IP transport solutions. At Agile Networks, he was responsible for an organization developing Ethernet Routing Switches, SONET OC-3/OC-12 ATM Uplinks, and WAN interfaces, which generated revenue in excess of $125 million annually.
