Mr. Wong is Right for BearShare! File Sharing Service Announces Agreement to Promote Four Episodes of Ground-Breaking Comedy
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- April 6, 2004 -- Free Peers Inc., publishers of the BearShare file-sharing client, announces an agreement to promote four episodes of Mr. Wong, the irreverent, ground breaking comedy available on file sharing services only to users of the BearShare client, available for download at http://www.bearshare.com. The episodes will be available to the BearShare users later this year.
Created by Pam Brady and Kyle McCulloch, Mr. Wong follows the misadventures of Mr. Wong, an eighty-five year-old Chinese houseboy and his wickedly funny -- and high maintenance -- employer, Miss Pam. Joining them on their acid-coated romp in search of kicks, friendship and maybe even love are the memorable characters Treasure Cat and Gary Peterson. These excerpts come from the Mr. Wong video (available on VHS and DVD) presented by National Lampoon including never before seen bonus material and available at stores everywhere.
Mr. Wong was a huge breakout hit on Icebox. We still receive hundreds of e-mails every week asking when there will be more Wong, said Tal Vigderson, managing director, Icebox 2.0 LLC, the producer of Mr. Wong. We are very excited to have the opportunity to expose the millions of BearShare users to Mr Wong.
We are excited and proud to share with our users Mr. Wong. I am a huge fan of the series and hope to cultivate similar enthusiasm within the BearShare community, exclaimed Vincent Falco, Free Peers Inc CEO. BearShare users will be able to download this content with the BearShare client later this year.
