D&E Communications Signs Transport Agreement With T-Mobile USA
EPHRATA, Pa. --(Business Wire)-- April 1, 2004 -- D&E Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:DECC) has signed a five-year contract with wireless service provider T-Mobile USA to transport voice and data in the central Pennsylvania region.
D&E, an integrated communications provider, will supply T-1 lines to approximately 240 cell tower sites throughout central Pennsylvania. These connections will transport T-Mobile voice and data traffic through points of presence in Lancaster, Reading, Harrisburg and York, and the communications will then be sent on to a mobile switching center in West Norriton, Pa.

Under the contract, D&E will provide T-1 lines to cell tower sites in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks, Perry, Mifflin, Juniata, Franklin and Fulton counties.
