Quarry Technologies Joins Isocore Internetworking Lab

Quarry Technologies®, the performance-leading supplier of carrier-class security service routers, announced today that it has joined the Isocore Internetworking Lab to validate the operation and management of its iQ-series products with leading IP and MPLS networking equipment. The testing will validate the scalability, stability, usability, and interoperability of the iQ-series Security Service Routers to enable service providers to rapidly deploy security services for MPLS and IP Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

�Security services for VPNs are a priority for service providers and large corporate users as they are challenged daily to protect their network and their clients from service attacks and network threats,� said Dr. Bijan Jabbari, of Isocore. �We are delighted to see Quarry�s Security Service Routers in the Isocore Internetworking Lab to work with its VPN security service offerings.�

The Isocore Internetworking Lab will be testing Quarry�s security services for a VPN solution that�s compliant with IETF standard RFC 2547bis. This will demonstrate the capability of Quarry's iQ4000® and iQ8000® platforms to scale and perform as a security service router, maintaining both IP and MPLS VPNs. Quarry's service creation and management system, iQSMS®, will also be tested to verify the ease with which it enables network operators to configure VPNs, each with unique security policies.
