DuPont Display Solutions And NEC LCD Technologies Announce Line Of Display Modules
DuPont Display Solutions, a unit of DuPont Display Technologies and an innovative display enhancement provider, and NEC LCD Technologies, Ltd., a global leader in display
technology, announced the introduction of a line of display modules enhanced with technologies for improving flat panel display performance in challenging environments. The products will utilize DuPont Display Solutions' ability to assist NEC's flat panel display customers by providing
after-market enhancements that enable Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) for a fast growing number of emerging non-PC industrial market applications.
The NEC display modules will offer unique variations of display enhancements provided by DuPont Display Solutions, enabling customers to differentiate themselves within their respective markets. These enhanced display modules will be marketed to serve the needs of the medical, transportation, instruments and other industries that require displays to be
used in environments that affect the performance of LCDs, such as in direct sunlight, moisture and wide temperature ranges, among others.
Peter Compo, president of DuPont Display Solutions, stated,
