Cril Telecom Software announces two new major deals for its Ellipse Mobile and Ellipse Transmission Planning Tool Suite
Monaco Telecom International (MTI) and Tunisiana - Orascom Telecom Tunisia select CTS Ellipse Mobile and Transmission Planning Tool Suite
PARIS, France, 13th October, 2003 � Cril Telecom Software (CTS), the leading provider of spectrum management systems and services and network planning and optimisation tools, today announces two new contracts for its Ellipse Mobile and Ellipse Transmission Planning Tool Suite.
Both contracts, with Monaco Telecom International (MTI) and Tunisiana - Orascom Telecom Tunisia, include installation, data migration, training, warranty and maintenance.
Ellipse Planning will be used by Monaco Telecom International (MTI), a Vivendi company, for radio design and optimisation of several of its foreign networks including Afghanistan�s GSM operator�s network Roshan.
Orascom Telecom Tunisia, the second GSM operator in Tunisia and known under the trade name Tunisiana, owned by Orascom Telecom Holding and Wataniya Telecom, Kuwait, selected CTS Ellipse Planning after a rigorous technical and quality evaluation to continuously expand its network.

Monaco Telecom International (MTI) required a flexible integrated planning software solution for its radio and transmission networks that is capable of managing several different roll-out projects at a given time. Ellipse Planning includes advanced check-out and re-sync functions that enable engineers to perform radio design in a disconnected mode. Network planners can use the software while being out in the field.

Integrated into the solution is a comprehensive RDBMS Oracle database to ensure high-security data sharing. Ellipse Planning is a future-proof planning system that is able to support GPRS / EDGE and 3G technologies.
