Nokia And Bell Mobility Announce Nokia 3586i Color Screen Handset

Nokia and Bell Mobility announced the national availability of the Nokia 3586i phone, a new, color screen customizable wireless handset. The Nokia 3586i device is the newest member of Nokia's CDMA handset lineup and provides customers with the latest in fashionable design, personalization features and next-generation technology by offering customizable ringtones and the ability to change the front and back covers.

"Having a phone that reflects their individual styles and personalities is becoming increasingly important to our customers," said Grace Belmonte, Director of Marketing, Nokia Canada. "With the latest technology, the Nokia 3586i does just this. The tri-mode phone combines the newest customization features with a color screen, high-speed data access and delivers it all at a great value."

Features available on the Nokia 3586i phone include an integrated voice recorder and voice dialing with support for up to 25 numbers, two-way text messaging and a selection of built-in color games. Also available is a full line of Nokia Original Enhancements, including a hands free car kit, FM radio headset and a data cable for synchronizing contact and calendar information.

"With its sleek design and range of technology capabilities, the Nokia 3586i handset meets the requirements of our customers," said Chris Shannon, Director, Hardware Marketing for Bell Mobility. "From those looking for the latest technologies to those in search of creative features, this new Nokia phone satisfies both."

The Nokia 3586i phone also features polyphonic MIDI ring tone support, graphical caller ID icons and optional Xpress-on(TM) covers. Users can choose from 30 ring tones included with the phone or from 10 custom downloadable ring tones to indulge in the desire for expression and individuality.
