Cbl Data Recovery Technologies Selects Jtcs Phase Z.Ro

CBL Data Recovery Technologies (s) Pte Ltd. (www.cbltech.com.sg), Singapores leading provider of computer data recovery services, has expanded its presence in Singapore with the opening of its 10th lab worldwide at JTCs Phase Z.Ro Technopreneur Park.

Our expansion in Singapore presents an opportunity not only to meet the data recovery needs of the region, but to be pro-active in our research efforts to develop new techniques for data retrieval, says CBL Singapores managing director, Samuel David, 14-year veteran of the disk drive industry and former Associate Senior Engineer for Solectron. In addition, through collaboration with local partners, we will work to better understand current problems plaguing storage media around the world.

CBLs Singapore lab features a Class 100 Clean Room and is located at the Phase Z.Ro Technopreneur Park (www.phasez.ro). Phase Z.Ro provides quality incubation space for technology entrepreneurs, offering a park-like work environment for like-minded technopreneurs.

While we have had a presence in Singapore for some time, it was clear that growing demand in the region for our services meant it was time to establish a research and development lab, says CBL president Bill Margeson.

Singapore is an important hub for the South East Asian region. Its economy relies on three key sectors: manufacturing, financial/business services and commerce. Within manufacturing, the predominant industry is electronics, accounting for 10 per cent of Singapores GDP, more than 40 per cent of its manufacturing output and 60 per cent of its non-oil domestic exports.

In recent years Singapore has intensified measures to actively promote entrepreneurship in high-tech industries.
