Zags Names Benoit Fillon as Vice President of Development Engineering

Zags, a solution provider of core processing systems for the P&C and group life insurance markets, today announced Benoit Fillon has joined the company as vice president of development engineering reporting to Zags founder and CEO Olivier Jaillon. Operating from the Zags EMEA headquarters in Paris, Benoit will be responsible for the development of all Zags products, including product analysis, design and delivery.

Fillon's extensive development experience most recently includes his role as software development director at Trace One where he led a multi-country development team of more than 100. First joining Trace One in 2002 Fillon has held a variety of technical positions with increasing responsibilities. Earlier in his career he was a software engineer where he gained experience in a number of industries.

With its sights set on aggressive growth and the establishment of a strong position in the global insurance software maket, Zags is making significant investments in building a proven leadership team -- a team with the experience to shape its digital innovation strategy into core insurance processes and execute the right go-to-market strategy to help insurers to replace their legacy core systems and transform their business.

Fillon earned his degree in Computer Engineering from Ecole supérieure d'Electronique de l'Ouest-ESEO ANGERS, as well as an Executive MBA from NEOMA Business School. He is a Microsoft (News - Alert) Certified Professional (MCP) and is fluent in English, German, French and Spanish.
