Yubico's YubiKey two-factor authentication implemented in open source password manager software Password Safe.

Feb 14, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Online identity protection company Yubico announced on Tuesday that the free, open source password manager software Password Safe has successfully implemented the company's YubiKey two-factor authentication.


Yubico said Password Safe is a free and open source software program for storing passwords in Microsoft Windows and the new joint solution enable Windows users to manage and secure their Internet passwords from their own computer, ensuring that unauthorised users do not get access to the passwords saved in the software stored on the computer, The Password Safe software is available for free download at http://www.pwsafe.org. Yubico also offers a pre-configured set of two YubiKeys at a one-time cost of USD45.
