Based in the company's London officer, he will take up the new role on November 12, taking over from Rui Barros, who is moving to North America to take up a key position for the company in the region. Ruff will be responsible for the hotel group's strategic development and operational, marketing, revenue management and sales services to the company's franchisees and development partners in the region. He will be based in the company's London, UK offices. He most recently lead asset management for Europe, Africa and the Middle East at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, overseeing franchise services and operations as well as owner relations and portfolio and contract management.
