Wilde Boosts Print-on-Demand Capabilities with Addition of Third Xerox iGen3 Digital Laser Printer; Wilde Experiencing Exceptional Growth in POD

HOLLISTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 30, 2006 -- W.A. Wilde Company, New England's largest direct marketing and fulfillment solutions provider, today announced the addition of a third Xerox iGen3 Docucolor Digital laser printer, boosting the company's print-on-demand (POD) capabilities. Wilde has experienced exceptional growth in its POD business, with an increasing number of companies turning to Wilde to manage their large-scale, multifaceted, personalized direct mail campaigns.

Wilde purchased the first two iGen3 digital printers a year ago in January of 2005, and since then the company's on-demand color printing has increased to more than 2 million copies per month. Now with the three iGen3 printers, the company expects to increase that number to 3-4 million copies per month. Also, the color quality of the iGen3, along with the variable data being leveraged with Wilde's clients' prospect and customer files provides for a high level of intimate, one-to-one marketing.

"Wilde's new state-of-the-art Xerox equipment helps us deliver higher quality digital print-on-demand projects faster so our clients can serve their customers better," said Tom A. Wilde, president and chief executive officer of W.A. Wilde Company. "Wilde's ability to deliver relevant, highly-customized and personalized materials, while reducing storage costs and inventory obsolescence is unmatched in our industry, and businesses are clearly taking notice. Wilde is committed to moving forward, setting the standard in direct marketing and fulfillment with investment like this."

Combined with Wilde's existing e-Z-Orders technology -- which gives clients the ability to quickly and easily make changes to POD jobs via the Internet -- the iGen3 printers enable Wilde to launch customized direct marketing campaigns faster, ultimately improving response rates of client campaigns. With the addition of another iGen3, Wilde now has over 33 percent more capacity to support a shorter "Into Mail" time frame. Wilde has seen customers experience returns five times the normal response rate when using this advanced technology.

Wilde has not only invested in hardware to support its expanding Variable Imagining POD business, the company has also upgraded its variable data software to Exstream's Dialogue variable merge tool. This tool helps Wilde create meaningful and detailed documents for its clients that are highly-personalized for each individual customer.
