WGU Tennessee Introduces Scholarship to Help Students Earn Master's Degrees in Business [Manufacturing Close - Up](Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WGU Tennessee is encouraging business professionals to continue their education and professional development through a new scholarship for students pursuing a master's degree in business through the online, competency-based university's College of Business. According to a release from WGU Tennessee, the Master's Degree in Business Scholarship is designed for new WGU Tennessee students working toward a business-related master's degree. The scholarship provides $500 per six-month term for as many as four terms, up to a $2,000 value. "WGU is committed to helping busy working adults achieve their dreams of a degree and career success," said Eric Goodman, the National Director of the College of Business. "The university's competency-based programs empower graduates with the education and skills they need for the workforce, making them valuable employees." To be eligible for the Master's Degree in Business Scholarship, applicants must submit an application for admission and be accepted to the university, submit their previous transcripts, and complete an interview with a scholarship counselor.
