Web based workforce management system supplier, Webroster Ltd has been accepted onto the new ESPO framework for Electronic Homecare Monitoring which incorporates both rostering and monitoring
(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Peterborough based company is one of nine suppliers that can now tender for Local Authority contracts through ESPO (Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation) framework.
ESPO (Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation) is a purchasing agent operating within the Local Government Goods and Service Act. The procurement service, based in Leicester, helps Local Authority purchasers to save costs and improve efficiency in sourcing goods and services. This programme has come from a need for reliability and efficiency in the industry.
The new Electronic Homecare Monitoring framework replaces two previous frameworks, including the Homecare Scheduling and Rostering Solution framework, which Webroster were also on. This means that Webrosters rostering and monitoring solutions can now be considered by Local Authorities.
Webroster is an established provider of workforce management solutions and the team behind the Company has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare industry. Inclusion in this framework will enable the Company to further market its workforce management and rostering solutions.
Webroster.net is an online workforce management and scheduling system designed to save time and money through automating and streamlining manual processes. It uses a simple browser interface to allow service user, carer, social worker and manager requirements to be matched to provide a more efficient homecare service. Webrosters automated front office system allows capture of time and attendance data remotely via telephone or the web, and feeds through to the back office for invoice and payroll generation.
Real time electronic monitoring is available for tracking time and attendance through PhotoTrac which uses barcode scanning for carers to check in and out. Webrosters latest product is an Android app, Webroster Mobile which gives field staff access to client and booking details, allows them check in/out of bookings and use the panic button.
Managing Director Nigel Gittins said: We are delighted to be included in the new framework; although we have been supplying rostering systems to the public sector for a number of years, we are very proud to have the chance to supply our monitoring systems as well. We are looking forward to the future opportunities that this may bring; Webroster products have evolved a lot over the past couple of years and we are pleased to be able to offer a full end to end solution.
