Watch for Cimarex Energy to Potentially Pullback After Gaining 2.44% Yesterday

Feb 14, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Cimarex Energy (NYSE:XEC) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $67.10 to a high of $69.33. Yesterday, the shares gained 2.4%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $68.14 on volume of 1.8 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.
