Visma acquires Agda

Apr 19, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Visma AS, a Norway-based provider of business software and business processes for accounting and payroll, has acquired Agda, a Swedish software company specializing in solutions for human resource management and payroll.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP acted as financial advisor to the sellers on the transaction.

This acquisition strengthens Visma's position both as a supplier of software solutions within human resource management and payroll, as well as it strengthens the competitiveness and ability to deliver even more unique services within payroll and BPO to its customers in Sweden and across other markets.

The acquisition of Agda coincides with Visma's strategy in building a market position within payroll and human resource management across existing and new markets.
