Verizon's Wireless network ranked #1 for overall performance in Salt Lake City by RootMetrics®SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon customers in Salt Lake City are enjoying all of the benefits of the top-performing wireless network in the area, according to the Salt Lake City RootScore® Report, conducted by Seattle-based RootMetrics. In the new RootMetrics second half 2016 report, Verizon won the overall performance award in Salt Lake City for the sixth consecutive testing period.  RootMetrics is an independent mobile analytics firm that uses off-the-shelf consumer smartphones to test the network capabilities of all four major U.S. wireless carriers in six network performance categories across various geographies. Verizon has won the Overall RootScore Award in Salt Lake City since 2014. Verizon also ranked first in network reliability, call, speed and data performance. RootMetrics professional testers drove over 1,000 miles throughout the Salt Lake City metro area in te recent study. They compared national wireless competitors in 24 indoor locations and conducted over 14,000 total tests from July 19 to July 23, 2016.
