Verify Supports HORIZONS Scholarship and Women In Defense at 2nd Annual White PartyIRVINE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Verify, Inc., a leading supplier performance management services company, was pleased to be an event sponsor for the Women In Defense, A National Security Organization - Greater Los Angeles Chapter (WID-GLAC) as the organization held its second annual White Party on Friday, August 15, 2014 in Long Beach, California. The White Party raised funds for the HORIZONS Scholarship and honors the achievements of several outstanding women within the Southern California Aerospace and Defense community through the WID-GLAC Service to the Flag Award.

The Service to the Flag Award recognizes women who have served national defense and security, supported the militarycommunity, and facilitated partnerships between industry and the military. Honorees included: Lisa Kohl, Sector Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems; Judith Otter, Executive Director, Gary Sinise Foundation; and Joy White, Director of Contracting, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California. Other event sponsors included - though not limited to - Lockheed Martin (News - Alert), Northrop Grumman and Lisi Aerospace. With an audience of over 100 attendees dressed in white or military attire, Verify Chief Executive Officer and WID-GLAC Chapter President Kathleen Boyle presented the HORIZONS Scholarship with a donation check of $5000.
