Veracode to Participate at RSA Conference 2012

Veracode, a provider of cloud-based application security testing, announced details of its participation at RSA Conference 2012, taking place Feb. 27 - March 2, in San Francisco.
In a release, the Company noted in addition to exhibiting and speaking at the event, Veracode is participating at the Cloud Security Alliance Summit 2012, a one-day event co-located at the RSA Conference, featuring new research and keynotes from thought leaders in industry and government.
Veracode and its customers will present several sessions throughout the RSA Conference including:
-Application Security Seminar (Monday, Feb. 27, 8:30 a.m., Session Code: SEM-002; Session Room 305) - This full day tutorial includes Chris Eng, vice president of research at Veracode, and others who will discuss, through demos and lectures, a broad variety of security issues centered around building security into applications as well as prevention techniques/countermeasures.
-Defending Behind the Device: Mobile Application Risks (Tuesday, Feb. 28, 3:50 p.m., Session Code: HT2-108; Session Room 104) - Chris Wysopal, Veracode's co-founder, CTO and CISO, will outline the top mobile application risks in order to educate developers and security professionals about the mobile application behavior - both maliciously designed or inadvertent - putting users at risk.
-Midmarket Application Security-Defend like a Fortune 500...or Better (Wednesday, Feb. 29, 1 p.m., Session Code: ASEC-204; Session Room 302) - Moderated by Maria Cirino, co-founder and managing director at .406 Ventures, this panel will include representatives from Bob's Stores, HealthMedia and Exostar. The IT and security executives will discuss best practices for developing comprehensive application security programs and how their effective strategies can be leveraged by complex security organizations from larger enterprises.
-Mobile Device Security: Is the Enterprise Up for the Challenge? (Thursday, March 1, 8 a.m., Session Code: MBS-301; Session Room 305) - Tyler Shields, senior researcher at Veracode, will join other mobile security experts on a panel moderated by Ryan Naraine, senior security evangelist for Kaspersky Lab. Panelists will discuss dealing with the tangled nuances of mobile security on a daily basis.
Wysopal will be participating on the National and International Security Standards - The Viability of Cross-Jurisdictional Solutions panel at the CSA Summit, taking place Monday, Feb. 27 at 9:30 a.m. Veracode CEO Bob Brennan will be participating on a panel at America's Growth Capital's 8th Annual West Coast Conference, also taking place Monday, Feb. 27 in San Francisco.
Veracode will be hosting numerous activities at its booth during show floor hours including:
-Cyber War book signing with Richard Clarke, chairman and CEO, Good Harbor Consulting and former White House cyber security advisor to the Bush and Clinton administrations
