He is based at the Oxnard branch, 155 South A St. Tapia is responsible for mortgage loans and refinancing in Oxnard and Port Hueneme.



Tapia, who is bilingual, also will assist the bank's Spanish-speaking customers with home loans. He can be reached at 240-1445.

Before joining Mid-State Bank & Trust, Tapia served as a loan officer for Ameriquest Mortgage. A native of Chile, Tapia attended Padres Dominicos Chile and earned a master's of business administration from Universidad Catolica de Chile.

MAYERSON MARKETING'S THEBAUD IS CERTIFIED: THOUSAND OAKS -- Mayerson Marketing & Public Relations account manager Kristin Thebaud is now a certified specialist in marketing and fundraising for nonprofits.

The Marketing and Fund Raising for Nonprofit Organizations Certificate Program through California Lutheran University is endorsed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties chapter.

Thebaud, who has been with the marketing firm for two years, is a summa cum laude graduate of Cal Lutheran with a degree in communications.

The 2005 winner of the small business Work/L.I.F.E. Organizational Leadership Award, Mayerson Marketing serves a variety of organizations in Ventura County and beyond, including the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, the Workforce Investment Board of Ventura County and California State University, Channel Islands.

MONTECITO BANK HIRES COMMUNITY PRESIDENT: WESTLAKE VILLAGE -- Dan Anderson has joined Montecito Bank & Trust as community president for Montecito Bank & Trust's Westlake Village office, 968 S. Westlake Blvd.

Anderson has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, and most recently was an investment consultant with City National Bank.

He received a bachelor's degree from Cal State Northridge and a master's degree in business administration from UC Irvine. He has several advanced degrees, including a personal financial planning designation from UCLA, a trust degree from the Cannon Trust School, and a certified trust and financial analyst designation by the American Bankers Association.

Montecito Bank & Trust is a locally owned community bank founded in 1975. The bank has branch offices in Carpinteria, Goleta, Montecito, Santa Barbara and Westlake Village.
